A Note from the Couple
Dear Family and Friends,
We're beyond excited to share that we're getting married!
We would love for you to join us in celebrating this special day. Your presence would mean so much to us, and we can't wait to celebrate with the people we love most.
With all our love,
Kelsey and Jose Elias

Our Love Story
Both raised in the Rio Grande Valley, our paths almost crossed long before we ever met. We attended the same university, University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, one in Brownsville, the other in Edinburg, never knowing our story was already unfolding.
It wasn't until our first year of medical school, in the midst of the uncertainty of COVID, that we finally met. We each connected with our favorite twins in anatomy and were invited to the same block party after our exam, where everything began. What started as a simple introduction quickly turned into a friendship built on shared experiences, study dates, and countless moments of laughter.
By April 10, 2021, that friendship grew into something undeniable. What we found in each other was more than love — we found a best friend, a constant support, and a partner through every season of life.
From that night in September 2020 to a breathtaking proposal in Thailand, our journey has been filled with intention, growth, and so much love. Now, we cannot wait to celebrate the next chapter of our story with the people who mean the most to us.

Dress Code
Spring Colors Encouraged
We invite our guests to dress in elegant formal attire inspired by the beautiful colors of spring.
Ladies
We would love to see you in colorful, elegant formal dresses. Think romantic spring shades — pink, coral, peach, lavender, lilac, yellow, sage, emerald, turquoise, and blue. Have fun with the color!
Gentlemen
Formal suits with dress shirts and ties. Feel free to incorporate spring colors through your tie or accessories.
Bridal Party
Our bridesmaids will be wearing wine berry and olive green. Guests are welcome to wear any spring color — including these same shades.
Spring Palette for Guests
We kindly ask guests to avoid white, ivory, cream, and other bridal shades.
Our reception takes place outdoors on grass and includes some stairs and uneven surfaces. Ladies may want to bring a comfortable pair of shoes to change into for dancing later in the evening. As temperatures cool after sunset, we also recommend a light shawl or wrap.

We would love to know if you can join us. The RSVP form is on its way — please check back soon, and we will share the link here.

Around the Lake
If you are staying a few extra days, here are some of our favorite things to do around Chapala, Ajijic, and Jocotepec.
Ajijic
Stroll the lakeside boardwalk, then wander the cobblestone streets full of murals, galleries, and small cafés.
Chapala
Walk the historic pier, browse the artisan market, and take a boat out to the island for lunch by the water.
San Juan Cosalá
The area is known for its natural hot springs — a perfect slow morning before or after the wedding.
Jocotepec
A more traditional town with a lively market, beautiful church plaza, and some of the best birria on the lake.
